朱影博士，纽约城市大学斯坦顿岛学院终身教授，“美国国家人文科学奖（US National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow）”和“美国学术协会委员会奖（American Council of Learned Societies Fellow）”得主；澳大利亚研究委员会（Australia Research Council）、英国学术研究基金会（British Academy Research Grants Council）、美国国家人文基金会（US National Endowment for the Humanities）、加拿大人文社会科学研究委员会（Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council）、瑞士国家科学基金会（Swiss National Science Foundation）、香港研究基金会（Hong Kong Research Grants Council）等评审专家；牛津大学出版社、杜克大学出版社等欧美主流出版机构评议专家；2017年度美国富布赖特学者；著名制片人。
